Microsoft released its Surface Laptop 5 and Surface Pro 9 last month, along with a slew of other products including the Xbox Adaptive Controller and Adaptive Accessories.
After much anticipation, Microsoft’s Surface Laptop 5 and Surface Pro 9 have finally been released in India.
Surface Laptop 5 Specifications and Price in India
The Surface Laptop 5 is said to have a battery life that lasts through a whole workday, and it is powered by the 12th Generation Intel Core processor family.
Users have the choice of selecting either a 13.5-inch or 15-inch display size. Although the smaller model may be configured with either an i5 or an i7 series CPU, the 15-inch model can only be purchased with a processor from the 12th generation of the Intel Core i7 family.
Both editions of the Surface Laptop 5 come with a choice of either 8GB or 16GB of RAM, and the operating system installed by default is Windows 11. You also have the option to select between 256 and 512 gigabytes of storage on the device’s inside.
In terms of connectivity, the Surface Laptop 5 includes support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, 4 USB-C ports, 1 USB-A 3.1 port, another 3.5mm headphone jack, and a Surface Connect Port.
Furthermore, the Surface Connect Port may be used to connect the Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 to the Surface Pro 4. The Surface Laptop 5 13.5-inch model lasts 18 hours, while the 15-inch model lasts 17 hours.
Prices for the 13.5-inch Surface Laptop 5 begin at Rs 1,07,999 for the base model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, and up to Rs 1,78,999 for the top-tier model with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage.
The 15-inch Surface Laptop 5 has 12th Gen Intel Core i7 series processors and 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage for Rs 139,999, or 16GB and 512GB for Rs 1,88,999.
Surface Pro 9 Specifications, Features and Price:
The Surface Pro 9 is a laptop can be used in two different ways and features a screen with a resolution of 13.3 inches and a refresh rate of 120 hertz. Two versions of the product are available for purchase: one is driven by the 12th Generation Intel Core processor lineup, and the other is powered by Microsoft’s SQ3 processor, which was developed in collaboration with Qualcomm and supports 5G connectivity. Both versions of the product are available for purchase.
The Intel model offers an internal storage capacity of up to 1 terabyte and comes in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB RAM configurations respectively. The Qualcomm version that supports 5G, on the other hand, comes with either 8 or 32 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of built-in storage space.
In terms of its battery life, Microsoft states that the Surface Pro 9 Intel model can last up to 15.5 hours on a single charge, while the Qualcomm model can last up to 19 hours on a single charge.
In terms of connection, the Intel version comes with two USB-C ports that enable Thunderbolt 4, whilst the Qualcomm version comes with a SIM card slot. These ports and support are included in the Intel version.
Regarding the Surface Pro 9, the starting price for the i5 model that has 8 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM) and 12 gigabytes of internal storage is Rs 1,05,999. If you choose the 256GB configuration, it will set you back an additional Rs 1,16,999.
Those who select the i7 model with 16 gigabytes of RAM have the option of selecting between 256 gigabytes or 512 gigabytes of storage, with the respective prices being Rs 1,16,999 and Rs 1,67,999.
The Surface Pro 9 iteration with an i7 processor, 32 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM), and one terabyte of storage space therein can be acquired for Rs 2,69,999.
