5G is the next-generation high-speed networking technology where many companies have started investing in it already. Smartphone giants like Samsung, Apple, Redmi, Huawei have already begun to produce smartphones that are compatible with 5G. As soon as the news about upcoming faster network technology has entered the news, many theories circulate about 5G technology.
These theories claim that 5G technology is harmful to everyone and would lead to many health complications. These theories were even added up by rumors and conspiracies that lead many ones to believe them. Encashing the panic about the situation, a company called BioShield has launched a device and claims which can protect a user from 5G radiation. They also claim, the device uses ‘Quantum Holographic Catalyzer Technology.’
This device was kept on sale recently in the UK for £283, which is $348 in US dollars. A teardown was made on this 5G BioShield device to find out if the claims were valid or not. A blogging site writer Pentestpartners has ordered the device to test the truth in their claims.
The teardown has resulted in shocking revelations about the 5G protector. The rear side crystal is nothing but a normal LED at the back of a USB stick. There was a round circular area on the stick, which is supposed to be bearing the crystal for ‘Quantum Holographic Catalyzer Technology.’ It found to be nothing but a normal sticker and has no technology attached to it.
After this massive revelation, it found that the company’s 5G Bio Shield device is a costly fraud by simply selling a 128 MB USB stick. Ironically, customers are still ordering trusting it would protect their lives from 5G radiations. Although, WHO claimed that 5G is not harmful, the rumors are even being trusted, and scamsters are using the opportunity to the fullest.
